Waste constitute environmental nuisance if not properly collected,
handle and disposed off in an environmentally safe manner as not to
cause injury or damage to humans, plants, animals and the environment
(the soil, water and air)
Industrial / construction waste shall be collected in bins marked
accordingly in remote locations. Biodegradable waste shall be disposed
off in pits and backfilled. Non degradable waste (but combustible ones)
shall be incinerated with proper precautions taken not to cause air
pollution.
Non degradable and non combustible wastes shall be collected, crate and
conveyed for disposal at government approved disposal sites. In all
however, proper precautions shall be taken to avoid discharge of
pollution in the air, land, or water. Dumping of waste in creeks, rivers and
other watercourse is not allowed.
